Formula1 Report

Canadian GP- one of the most exciting races this season until now!

What a fantastic race! This time there was everything in it- many overtake maneuvers, problems with the brakes and tyres, flubbed pit stops, strategy mistakes and crashes (blessedly without any person injured!)

First of all there was a bad start of Rosberg and a good one of Hamilton, who started right behind him. But Rosberg defended his 1st place and Vettel overtook Hamilton. In the first lap there was a crash between the two Marussia´s and the safety car had to come out for nearly 7 laps.  After the restart Hamilton got his 2nd place back and tried to get as close as possible to Nico. Nearly everyone was on a 2 pit stop strategy and after a few laps there were the first pit stops. In the middle of the race the two Mercedes got a problem with their energy system and as a result of that also problems with the brakes. Hamilton did not manage to drive conscious and he had to retire. Ricciardo overtook Rosberg, who had to drive a little bit slower and Vettel overtook Perez, who was in front of him. Then Massa came with high speed and crashed into Perez. Fortunately nothing really bad happened, but Vettel had a lot of luck that the two behind him did not touched him. Ricciardo won his first race ahead of Rosberg and Vettel! Congratulations to Red Bull, that they are back and won!

Results of the race:
1 Ricciardo
2 Rosberg
3 Vettel
4 Button
5 Hülkenberg
6 Alonso
7 Bottas
8 Vergne
9 Magnussen
10 Raikkönen
