Unfortunately I couldn´t watch the 2014 Siverstone Formula 1 Grand Prix, but I checked the results and now try to tell you a little things about them.
Rosberg had
the pole ahead of Vettel and Button, thus the results of qualifying were a bit
wondering, because not only Ferrari but also Williams did not qualify
themselves for Q2, which was a bit of a shock for them.
The race
was a really crazy British GP! In the first lap Raikönnen leaved the track,
came back with highspeed and hit Massa. It was a big crash and this caused a
RED FLAG- which means that the race stopped and about 45 minutes later they
had to start again. After 30 laps Rosberg (who leaded the race) had to retire,
because he had problems with the gearing mechanism. Hamilton won his Home Grand
Prix and was so happy! There were also a few overtaking maneuvers between
Alonso and Vettel, which was great; In the end Vettel saw the chequered flag
a bit earlier than Alonso!
Must have
been a fantastic race to watch!
